This Practice is a full service outpatient Family Practice. The office was established in 1984 as an Internal Medicine Practice and transitioned in 2003 to a Family Practice. The current physician does not do any inpatient care; this is handled by a local Hospitalist group.
The office uses e-MDs complete software suite for scheduling, charting and billing. It uses electronic prescribing through Surescripts and also has a patient portal for online communication with patients. The former paper records have all been scanned into the EMR resulting in an almost paperless office.
The practice also has new EKG, Holter Monitor and Spirometry equipment that interface with the EMR. The practice offers in-house lipid panel, liver enzymes, PT/INR and HgbA1c testing. Other labs are drawn in-house by the MA?s and ordered through LabCorp and Quest online. The results are directly imported into the EMR upon completion.
The practice is housed in a Medical Complex with ample off road parking for clients and has easy access to all the major highways in the region. The 1900-square foot facility is owned by the current physician. It has been significantly upgraded and offers an excellent environment ideally suited to a Family Practice office. Long term lease is available as is outright purchase of the facility.
The practice currently has approximately 3000 active patient charts and attracts 30-40 new patients a month. The practice accepts Medicare and all of the major insurances plans. Medicaid is not accepted and only 1 HMO plan is accepted. The current staff consists of a Receptionist, two Medical Assistants, and an Office Manager/Billing Specialist. Staff members are loyal and have worked at the practice from 4 to 19 years.

The practice has thrived under the current owners with increasing patient visits, new referrals and revenues year to year.
