Since 1994, the company has served over 15,000 homeowners throughout the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St Paul with seamless gutter systems using aluminum, steel, and copper. They also install vinyl, steel, and fiber cement siding. Quality asphalt and wood shingles are also provided through a number of shingle manufacturers. All of these products are installed by the company's own labor force and long term sub-contractors. The owner is very interested in a smooth transition to a buyer. He would desire to stay on for a year as a part-time commissioned sales person which would greatly benefit any buyer in the transition of the ownership.
Current owner has a 1700 sq. ft. leased shop which is used for equipment storage and minor repairs and maintenance.
The current owner has never "chased" after roof or siding repair business after storms. By being more aggressive for that kind of business, revenues could go up. Also, the company has the capacity for growth as before the last recession, the owner had a number of years when revenues exceeded $1,000,000.
As expected, there are other competitors in the business.
Will train for 4 weeks @ no cost. The owner currently manages the two project estimators and oversees and directs the installation teams. He is also responsible for raw material ordering and managing the accounting/finance functions for the company. A Residential Contractors License issued by the Department of Labor from the State of Minnesota is required to be held by someone from the company, although not necessarily the owner.
