The Sellers current territory covers much of the Rocky Mountains. The owners wish to keep the Western States and to sell their existing business and distribution agreements for the State of Wyoming. This territory will include the Sellers contacts, current and pending agreements, (as negotiated) exclusive distribution agreement and the ability to fast track business growth in Wyoming with mentoring and design resources available from the Sellers to insure Buyer success. Approximately 90% of the current sales are to public entities with the remainder to private schools, day cares, service organizations that build parks and recreation areas, HOA's, and development companies.

The Sellers currently provide vetted, high quality equipment, preliminary design and site preparations, personalized customer service, CPSI inspected and certified installations, and annual safety inspections to their loyal clients.

The Sellers have a full design build facility and are willing to help the Buyer with those services for the foreseeable future (as negotiated) while the Buyer builds the Wyoming business. Additionally, many of the vendors provide design service and bid guidance as part of the equipment package. Sellers have a very good web designer and are willing to help the Buyer with design and maintenance of a web site and to help drive traffic to the new site.

Growth & expansion opportunities:

Good potential for growth, the Wyoming education budget has always generously allocated money for schools and municipal recreation areas. Today the State has a renewed interest in encouraging outdoor recreation. Municipalities are working to upgrade their outdoor recreational areas and parks to include more sophisticated and appealing equipment. Sellers will help Buyer with grant opportunities and white papers that are of value to their customers find additional funding.

Competition:

The State of Wyoming does not have a full time playground installer, thus no direct competition in the State. The Sellers have the exclusive right to sell two of the largest and most popular and innovative recreational equipment providers equipment in the State of Wyoming and will transfer those rights to the Buyer with the approval of the manufacturers. The State of Wyoming awards a 5% preference in favor of in-state providers and contractors which may apply.

Reason for selling:

Owners wish to cut back on the size of their service area and wish to sell the State of Wyoming portion of their well established multi-state playground, recreation equipment and installation business. Currently the Seller operates in Wyoming and several Western States. Sellers have exclusive distribution agreements with their major vendors which will transfer to the Buyer as approved by the vendors and contingent to final sale.

Support & Training:

Will train for 4 weeks @ no cost Many of the playground equipment manufacturers have design build departments that will team with the buyer to help bid, design and sell packages for complete playgrounds and recreational areas. The Buyer will want to work toward a CPSI (Certified Playground Safety Inspector) certification. Many of the manufacturers are designing and offering new and innovative recreation equipment that are not your old fashioned swing-set and slide. These are sophisticated offerings that require turn-key precise setup and create high customer satisfaction and pride including playgrounds and equipment, sophisticated new surfacing and safety products, athletic equipment, dog parks, amenities and shelters. Services include initial surveys, excavation, borders, ramps, ADA compliance design, drainage, certification and on-going certified safety inspections.
